High court stays Rajan’s order; The police used force without waiting

Thiruvananthapuram; It is clear that the couple died due to burns in Neyyattinkara due to the negligence of the police. Rajan’s suicide attempt was made while trying to enforce the lower court verdict before the case was considered by the high court. The High Court had stayed the Neyyattinkara court order shortly after the incident.

Rajan had filed an appeal in the Neyyattinkara High Court on December 21 against the order in the land ownership dispute case.

The High Court heard the case on the afternoon of the 22nd. The High Court, which accepted Rajan’s petition, stayed the execution of the order of the Neyyattinkara Muncipal Court till January 15. But before that, the police tried to enforce the lower court’s verdict and burned the couple who had threatened to kill themselves.

The High Court had also directed Justice Shersey to send notices to five opposing parties, including Pongil Vasantha, through speed post. The case will be heard again on January 15.
