In Hamburg, the first easing steps could be taken back in the coming week. For the first time since the end of January, the incidence has risen to over 90.
It comes dangerously close to the agreed 100 mark, from which corona measures must be tightened again according to the agreements of the prime ministers – for example the currently applicable rule that five people from two households are allowed to meet.
Today the Senate is discussing the next steps. It is already clear that there will be no easing. So no outdoor catering, no concerts, no cinema screenings and no further relaxation in sports. NDR.de will broadcast the state press conference from around 12.30 p.m. via live stream.

Further openings unrealistic
In view of the increasing numbers, further openings are not realistic, it is said from the town hall. For Schools and daycare centers, however, do not automatically mean that they will close again. Here, face-to-face lessons for elementary schools and graduating classes with mask compulsory in the classroom and strict ventilation and hygiene rules apply. However, the requirement to be present remains lifted.
Just a week ago, Hamburg had taken the third step in opening it. Since then, one can shop with an appointment and visit galleries and zoos.
