While the movements of populations forced to flee their countries have reached an unprecedented level, France takes this opportunity to salute the work carried out by the UNHCR. Its action is all the more essential given that the Covid-19 pandemic particularly affects refugees and displaced persons.
France reaffirms its commitment to support UNHCR’s action, both through the implementation of the commitments it made during the Global Refugee Forum, held in Geneva in December 2019, and through its financial contributions to UNHCR.
