People ask me why I continue to work and do not retire. I see that I have a lot of fans around the world, and many of them have told me that games like Metal Gear have changed their lives.
Before this, I did not think that I was bringing any benefit to the world. I was just a geek who makes games. But over time, I began to think that maybe I was changing something in the world after all. I was also contacted by sick people, and this made me want to spend the rest of my life creating something for them.
I’m not a politician and I can’t change anything, but I want to support people with my work. I want to do everything I can for them.
