Jakarta

ADA 22 The new features of WhatsApp released throughout 2022. Some of them are highly anticipated, from hiding their online status to quietly leaving the group.

Due to the many features it provides, Boss Whatsapp Will Cathcart called 2022 the year of great innovation for his party. This was broadcast through a Twitter account.

“2022 is our biggest year ever. Our team is so excited to build communities, reactions, polls, avatars, 32-person video calls and more. Thanks to everyone who has provided feedback on how to improve WhatsApp. There’s so much more to do—more to come in 2023! wrote Cathcart.

List of 22 new WhatsApp features in 2022

  1. Hide online status: You can now control who sees your last seen and if you’re online from your privacy settings. That’s how.
  2. Leave group silent: Instead of notifying the entire group when you leave, now only admins are notified.
  3. Accidental delete: Have you shared something with the wrong group, and while trying to quick delete, accidentally hit “delete for me”? Now you can undo it.
  4. Introducing Community that makes it easy for schools, local groups and workplaces to manage their busy conversations by bringing multiple groups together under one umbrella. It also provides administrators with powerful tools, including ad groups and the ability to create subgroups on any topic.
  5. WhatsApp introduces the poll function in chats,
  6. The WhatsApp group has now added 1,024 members, up from 256.
  7. WhatsApp has introduced admin deletion, giving admins the ability to delete problematic messages.
  8. Call 32 people: Just like voice calls, you can now video call up to 32 people on your phone, four times the previous number.
  9. Message or mute call participants: Long press on a participant magnifies the video or audio feed and allows you to mute or send messages separately.
  10. Calling Links: Whether it’s an impromptu call or planning ahead, you can easily invite people to a group call by sharing the call link.
  11. In-call banner notifications: Now get notified when someone new joins a group call.
  12. Play voicemails outside of chats, so you can multitask or read and reply to other messages.
