Did you know that there can be messages hidden in the “Message Requests” category? How to find it!
Many of us use Facebook Messenger, but not all messages go straight to our inbox. If, for example, someone you are not friends with on Facebook sends you a message, it will be filtered and can be found in the “Message requests” category.
The spam messages evaluated by the algorithm are also stored here. So if you don’t have a direct relationship with the sender, this function can protect you. If you are now interested in which messages are already accumulating in this particular folder, we will now show you where you can find this category.
For the desktop:
If you use the messenger via desktop, the folder is quite easy to find. To do this, simply click on the three dots in the top left of the screen. Then all you have to do is click on the “Message Inquiries” category – voilà, the messages that were not forwarded directly to your inbox are hidden here.
For the smartphone:
If you use Facebook Messenger mainly on your smartphone, you have to search a bit until you find the folder.
To call up the hidden messages, you first have to click on your own avatar – that is, the photo that you have chosen for your profile. You can find it in the top left next to “Chats”.
Then all you need to do is select the “Message Requests” category.
