PACHUCA.- The artist hidalgo Carlos Moreno Escobedo placeholder image, known as Came Moreno, made a mural in the borough of brooklyn, New York; It is the second work he has done in USA.
In addition, the muralist From Pachuca will participate, along with others 19 artists, in a exposition international of watercolor paintings which will be exhibited from June 26 to July 27, reported in an interview with La Silla Rota Hidalgo.

The mural called American ethnicities, was done in collaboration with the artist Mexican Rafael Medina, ToMeR Lineage; the work represents the different ethnic groups that exist in USA of African American origin.

Specifically, my intervention was to make a half Owl hybrid that represents the wisdom of these ethnic groups. The graphic theme is hitting very well in New York and this mural is my second intervention that I do, since I did the first in Miami, Florida, “he said.

Came Moreno’s work in Pachuca has focused on making around 35 murals, mainly in the El Arbolito neighborhood, through the work Mining tree, which seeks to portray the mining roots from the place of the city.

It is also the first artist hidalgo in making a mural in the United Arab Emirates (Dubai) where he captured iconographies of the state’s Otomi culture.

WILL EXHIBIT 16 PLAYS EN NYC ART MOVEMENT
Came Moreno reported that 16 of his plays in watercolors will be exhibited at the NYC ART MOVEMENT, in which there will also be plays of others 19 artists from other countries.
Some of these paintings come from Mexico and others I developed in New York. I think that in that sense it is a great opportunity to publicize my work and especially the indigenous issue that we are doing in Hidalgo, “he said.

The hidalgo has also made plays on Portugal, Peru, Colombia Y Brazil, in addition to several states of the country. In Hidalgo, Came Moreno has invited internationally renowned painters to intervene on the facades of houses in Pachuca.
