Hi-Tech Mail.ru announces the Hisense TV E8K as the new “king” of TVs.

Now we know what the best TV of 2023 looks like. The best, not because it’s expensive, but because it combines the most sophisticated technologies.

Hisense presented TV E8K is a flagship TV that is suitable for both watching movies and playing games. The model is available in two sizes: 85 and 100 inches.

The TV screen is capable of displaying 8K images at a refresh rate of 60Hz or 4K images at a refresh rate of 144Hz. Enhanced smoothness mode will turn on when you play on PS or Xbox. They also promise a delay of only 1 ms thanks to ALLM and VRR technologies.

The TV E8K uses a relatively new MiniLED technology that promises improved contrast and deeper blacks. At peak brightness can reach a record 1600 nits. Color depth – 16 bits. The panel covers 99% of the DCI-P3 color gamut. There is support for IMAX, HDR 10 and Dolby Vision. The contrast is 10000000:1.

The MediaTek MT9653 processor is responsible for the calculations, which is more powerful than in some budget smartphones. Memory: 4 GB RAM and 64/128 GB ROM (depending on the diagonal). Stereo sound is provided by a 2.1.2 speaker system with Dolby Atmos support.

For wireless connection, a Wi-Fi 6 module is provided, for wired connection, three HDMI 2.1 ports, USB-A, USB-C and a 3.5 mm jack. All this fits into a thin body with almost invisible frames.

Not a shocking price

  • Hisense TV E8K (100 inches) – 22,999 yuan (257,000 rubles).

For comparison, other manufacturers ask for almost half a million rubles for similar characteristics. Pre-order starts March 24 in China. It is not yet clear if the TV will be sold in other countries.
