Tottenham Hotspur left-back, Ben Davies seems to disagree with words Jose Mourinho. He said the Spurs players were not lazy.

“I think all of us players give everything on the pitch. I kept fighting until the end,” he said.

“We are not trying less. It was a difficult match, our performance and the final result were less than satisfactory,” continued the Welshman.

Ben Davies also mentioned the players Tottenham Hotspur train hard in pre-season. Indeed, there are those who have just returned from the national team to defend their respective countries in the UEFA Nations League event and there are also those who have to quarantine themselves because they go on vacation, but all players behave professionally and immediately train.

“These are things that you all have to face. As a result, the preparation is not optimal and so on,” continued Davies.

“I am sure, the evaluation of the match against Everton will be an evaluation material and we will improve in the next game. Everyone in this team plays a big role, we all have to face it together,” concluded Davies, who has strengthened the Spurs since 2014.
