A member of the Central Council of Hezbollah, Sheikh Nabil Qaouk, stressed that “the party is keen on consensus, because its priority is to stop the collapse and deterioration and save the country, but the priority of the other party is to exploit the collapse and invest it for political goals.”
During the Ashura Council, he indicated that “Lebanon is on the verge of a serious financial crisis, and there is a real fear of the dollar’s price dropping, and our national responsibility imposes on us and everyone to confront to save the country from the next crisis.”
He added, “The responsibility lies primarily with the government, and it must take the necessary measures to save the country from a new financial crisis, because people can no longer tolerate crises.”
Sheikh Qaouk concluded by saying: “The crisis of the displaced began with the involvement of an internal team in the project to overthrow the state in Syria, and today there are official political officials working to keep the displaced out of fear of America at the expense of the interest of Lebanon.”
