Lebanon’s Hezbollah said it launched a series of attack drones against military targets in northern Israel on Tuesday.
Hezbollah issued a statement saying it launched an attack using drones targeting the headquarters of the Golani Brigade and the headquarters of Unit 621 Egoz in the “Sharaga” barracks north of Akka, northern Israel .
According to the statement, “the swoop marches successfully hit their targets and achieved confirmed casualties.”
Israeli ambulance services announced two injuries in a drone explosion in the Western Galilee region, one of them in serious condition.
The Israeli newspaper Israel Hayom reported that bombing from Lebanon targeted the area, adding that a military facility between Acre and Nahariya was bombed.

This came after the Israeli army confirmed that fighter jets had been used to hit what it called a “military structure” used by Hezbollah in the town of Mifdoun in southern Lebanon.
Israeli forces released aerial images of the attack in the town of Mifdoun, which is about 30 kilometers (19 miles) north of Lebanon’s southern border, and which saw an Israeli attack for the first time.
Lebanon’s Ministry of Health said five people were killed in the Israeli attack, and the strike reportedly hit a house occupied by Hezbollah members.
