On Tuesday, the Lebanese Hezbollah announced that it had targeted 10 military sites and concentrations of Israeli soldiers near the southern Lebanese border, on a day that witnessed the death of the first Lebanese soldier in an Israeli bombing since last October 7.

This bombing continues in the wake of a devastating war waged by the Israeli army on Gaza since the previous day, which has left, as of Monday afternoon, 15,899 Palestinian martyrs and more than 42,000 wounded, in addition to massive destruction of infrastructure and an “unprecedented humanitarian catastrophe,” according to official sources.
