Al-Jadeed information indicated that more than one meeting took place between the Secretary-General of Hezbollah, Sayyed Nasrallah, and the head of the Marada Movement, former Minister Suleiman Franjieh, and the latter’s presidential chances were discussed.
The information added that “Franjieh asked Nasrallah to put him in the atmosphere of the next settlement before it occurs, so that he can build upon what is necessary for the national interest.”
The head of the “Loyalty to the Resistance” bloc, MP Muhammad Raad, met with Franjieh today and reaffirmed Hezbollah’s nomination of him for the presidency.
