At approximately 11:35 a.m. on Sunday morning, Hezbollah’s air defenses were able to shoot down an Israeli drone with a surface-to-air missile, and large parts of it fell over neighborhoods in the towns of Zabdin and Harouf, when it had been flying with another drone since the morning hours over the airspace of Nabatieh, Harouf, and Zabdin. , Jabshit, Al-Duwair, Al-Sharqiya and Toul.
It was noted that the second drone flew for some minutes after the first was shot down, before withdrawing from the sky of the region.
Hundreds of citizens climbed onto the rooftops of the aforementioned towns at the moment the missile explosion sounded and the drone fell.
