Hezbollah Rockets attack Israel’s Haifa and Tiberias

Rocket launched Hizbullah from Lebanon to Israel. Rockets hit the city Haifa and Tiberias in Israel which is south of Lebanon.

Reported by Reuters and Aljazeera, on Monday (7/10/2024), rockets hit Haifa, the third largest city in Israel and 10 people were injured by the rockets.

The Hezbollah rocket was named the ‘Fadi 1’ missile. The number of rockets that attacked Haifa was two units. In addition, there were five rockets that attacked Tiberias, 65 km from Haifa. Several buildings were damaged and several people were taken to hospital.

Israel has sent its fighter jets to attack Hezbollah’s intelligence headquarters in Beirut. Israeli airstrikes have also hit weapons storage facilities in southern Lebanon and the Beqaa region.

Aljazeera, which provided information from outside Israel, said the rocket fell in the center of Haifa and was not intercepted by Israel’s anti-missile system. They said that a man had fallen from the door of a building due to the rocket.

Haifa is an important city. It is a port city and the capital of the northern region of Israel. The population is about 300 thousand people.
