In a statement issued by the Lebanese Resistance movement, Hezbollah, they indicated that “While a group of enemy soldiers tried to advance towards the town of Aita al-Shaab, resistance fighters attacked them with artillery, forcing them to withdraw due to the intensity of the fire.
In another statement they add that Lebanese fighters attacked the Beit Lid military base, east of Netanya, and the town of Kiryat Shmona with missile attacks.
They also stated that the resistance managed to prevent the advance of infantry troops of the Zionist regime’s Army towards the town of Merkava in southern Lebanon with artillery attacks.
On the other hand, they announced the success in destroying three Merkava tanks of the Israeli enemy during their advance towards the outskirts of the village of Aita al-Shaab, in southern Lebanon.
It has clarified that its missiles achieved direct hits against the tanks, killing and wounding the occupants of the vehicles.
Media report that sirens have sounded in nearly 200 Israeli cities and settlements, including in the commercial center of Tel Aviv, due to the operations of the Lebanese resistance.
These operations provide continuity to the Hezbollah front in support of the Palestinian people of the Gaza Strip, in support of their brave and honorable Resistance and in defense of Lebanon and its people.
The death toll due to Israeli attacks in the Lebanese nation today, October 14, amounted to 2,309 dead and 10,782 injured, according to the Lebanese Ministry of Public Health.
