Hezbollah attacks military sites, and Israel responds with phosphorus raids

Hezbollah announced – on Sunday – that it had attacked 10 Israeli military sites and confirmed its support for the Palestinian resistance, while the Israeli occupation army launched violent phosphorus bombardments on the town of Kafr Kila and raided many areas in southern Lebanon.

Hezbollah said in a statement that it bombed several Israeli border sites with Lebanon, including Al-Dahira, Al-Jardah, Jal Al-Alam, Al-Marj, Ramia, Hanita, Khallet Wardah, and Al-Matula.

The party explained that it targeted the Jal al-Alam site for the second time on Sunday.

The party also announced in a separate statement that it had targeted a gathering of Israeli individuals and vehicles near the Metulla site with appropriate weapons, “causing direct casualties.”

The party also confirmed that it targeted gatherings of Israeli occupation soldiers near the sites of Al-Marj, Ramim, and Honen Barracks, causing confirmed injuries among them.

Earlier on Sunday, Israeli Army Radio said that sirens sounded in the Western Galilee on the northern border with Lebanon.

The occupation army said in a tweet on the

Support for Gaza

Hezbollah explained that its operations came “in support of our steadfast Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip, and in support of their brave and honorable resistance.”

The Israeli aggression on Gaza led to the death of 13,000 Palestinian civilians, most of whom were women and children.

Naeem Qassem, Deputy Secretary-General of the party, confirmed that they will remain on the highest alert, and in constant readiness to occupy the enemy, confuse it, inflict losses on it, and prevent it from using all its power elsewhere.

As for the head of the party’s Executive Council, Hashem Safi al-Din, he stressed during a memorial ceremony that “the honorable resistance in our region will continue to put pressure on Israel by any means possible, as long as there is a war on Gaza and a threat to its people.”

He added, “This will not stop, and there is no room today to talk about stopping a front without a front.”

For its part, the army confirmed to Israel that its forces attacked the sources of fire in Lebanon.

Violent bombing

The occupation army said, “We bombed Hezbollah targets inside Lebanese territory, including a military complex, a monitoring point, and infrastructure.”

On Sunday, the town of Kafr Kila in southern Lebanon was subjected to an Israeli phosphorous bombardment, in an attack described as the most violent since last October 8.

The official Lebanese News Agency reported that Kafr Kila was subjected to violent Israeli bombing and phosphorus bombardment on its populated areas.

The agency spoke about Israel’s bombing of several border towns around the towns of Al-Dhahira and Alma Al-Shaab, and the outskirts of the towns of Naqoura, Jabal Al-Labouneh, and Mays Al-Jabal.

The “Alfa” cellular communications company in Lebanon announced – on Sunday – that one of its stations in the south was partially destroyed as a result of an Israeli bombing, which led to the disruption of its services in several towns in the aforementioned area.

Since last October 8, coinciding with the Israeli aggression on Gaza, the southern Lebanese border has witnessed mutual bombardment between the occupation army on the one hand, and Hezbollah and Palestinian factions in Lebanon on the other hand, which left dead and wounded on both sides.
