The American Embassy in Israel issued a warning to its citizens and asked them to take security measures in case the situation develops, and confirmed that they are closely and continuously monitoring the security situation.

The embassy said in its statement that flights to and from Ben Gurion Airport will be delayed until at least 10am, and advised its nationals to monitor the situation, flights cancel, and find the nearest shelter to deal with a threat, whether it’s mortar shells. , missiles, or deploy unmanned aircraft systems (UAS).

The US Embassy said the security environment is complex and can change quickly, and Israel’s Home Front Command may change directives in response to the security situation, and instructed US government employees and members the family to stay where they are.

She said that US government employees and their family may be barred from traveling to areas affected by missile activity, and that US citizens should take this into account when they ‘ planning their own activities.
