Some members of the Manchester United squad are reportedly disgusted by Ralf Rangnick’s training methods which they call “out of date”.
Presented on an interim basis as a replacement for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer last November, the 63-year-old manager’s performance did not live up to expectations.
Man United’s results did improve slightly under Rangnick’s direction, but the team’s performance was considered mediocre and some players were starting to get annoyed with the training methods he used.

According to ESPN, Man United players are frustrated that Rangnick’s training methods are too “outdated”.
In addition, they were also surprised because Rangnick often left training sessions to his assistant, Chris Armas.
The report even claims that some United players mocked Armas as “Ted Lasso” the fictional American football coach who coached the fictional AFC Richmond team in the comedy series made by Apple+.
Armas, who is also from the United States, had no coaching experience outside of North America before becoming Rangnick’s number two last December. The 49-year-old man was last sacked by Toronto FC after only being able to win two of their last 15 matches.
Several players were also said to be unimpressed with Rangnick’s training menu, which focused too much on the organization of the team in general rather than on specific skills-honing sessions.
