Incontestable historic victory for Donald Trump
A brief moment of fair play in America (what has been missing in recent years and will be missing in the next): Donald Trump78 years old, won the November 5 presidential elections by a wide margin and no one, not even his most bitter detractors, dreamed of questioning his victory. The Democratic Party did not cry fraud or delegitimize its opponent. But perhaps it was inevitable, given the historic significance of the Republicans’ victory. Trump’s return to the presidency, wearing a coat Swing States and his radical agenda, is truly historic. After Grover Cleveland at the end of the nineteenth century, the magnate is the second president to be elected for two non-consecutive terms. But he is also the first with a criminal conviction to enter the White House. Trump gained a majority of electors and a lead in the popular vote, thus beating the Democrat Kamala Harris.
