The Herzo Rhinos will have 663 days without a football game behind them when the kick-off against the Nürnberg Hawks takes place on Sunday, August 22nd, 3 p.m. Not in the national league, however, but in its own tournament format called the Bavarian Bowl Series. “We just didn’t want us to train again, to prepare for a football season – and then not play again,” says Niklas Benz.
