The only goal of the match was scored by Edwin Saldívar with a powerful shot that violated the goal guarded by José Silva.
The ‘monks’ of La Chorrera managed to pressure the cast from Herrera for much of the game, but could not score. So they left the Los Milagros de Chitré stadium empty-handed and unable to give their new coach José Manuel Rodríguez the victory.
With this result, Herrera FC reaches six points in four games played, while San Francisco FC remains with one unit.
