Images released by the New York Police Department (NYPD) show the heroic rescue of a woman who fell on the rails of the train in Brooklyn by an agent.

The emergency was reported, this Monday, around 8:30 a.m. at the Bay Ridge–95th Street Station.

Traffic officers were patrolling the terminal when they spotted a 25-year-old woman that rushed to the track of the wagons.

Immediately, one of the agents rushed to her aid and raised her again to the platform where her partner was.

The video circulated by the NYPD on Tuesday contains the officer body camera footage.

It is unclear what caused the woman’s fall.

Is suffered a head injurybut remains in stable condition at NYU Langone Hospital.

Fortunately, the R train that was heading for that lane had several minutes to go, so its arrival did not represent a complication for the rescue.
