Hero of the US series Seattle Firefighters wants to shoot in the Black Forest – Gundelfingen

Boris Kodjoe grew up in Gundelfingen and can currently be seen on Pro Sieben. He wants to shoot his own series in Kirchzarten. He looks forward to conversations in Alemannic and the Mnsterwurst.

The actor Boris Kodjoe grew up in Gundelfingen and moved to America at the age of 18. He graduated from university there, was successful as a model and starred in various films and series. He is currently a guest in Breisgau with his wife Nicole Ari Parker and wants to work on his own new series at the Black Forest Studios in Kirchzarten. In an interview with Max Schuler on the phone, he reveals what the new series should be about, why he fought against racism as a young boy and how many pounds he gained during his home visit.

BZ: Your wife Nicole Ari Parker recently posted pictures from Paris, Barcelona and Rome. How much did you have to convince your wife to go on a trip to the Breisgau?
Kodjoe: My wife went on the European tour alone with my daughter and her three best friends, none of whom had left the country before. At that time I was still in Antibes in France and edited a film that I was directing. My son went to the Mouratoglou Academy there to play tennis. I always enjoy coming back to the Black Forest. My best friends are here, my mother, aunt and cousin, I don’t have to be whipped here. My wife loves it here too. She said 15 years ago that she would move here immediately.
“We want to sell the series internationally, but produce here in the Black Forest.”
