Hero Group enters the Canadian baby food market

Hero has one Majority stake acquired at Baby Gourmet, Canada Organic baby food brand and Snacks. With Baby Gourmet, the Hero Group has a new platform in the Canadian one Baby food market to get in, ”the company wrote in a press release.

The Baby food market is the largest category in which you want to expand your presence, says Hero boss Rob Versloot.

He said Baby Gourmet is a perfect fit with Hero’s mission and will add to the group’s credibility as a provider of healthy choices for babies, toddlers and children.

Baby Gourmet was founded in 2005 by the sisters Jennifer Carlson and Jill Vos founded. They launched organic baby food bags in 2010 and have already had successes for two years. The founders will remain with the company as managers and shareholders.
