The Academy of Cinematographic Arts and Sciences of Argentina yesterday presented its new board of directors, which will be chaired by producer and director Hernán Findling.
Within the framework of the annual assembly that convenes its more than 300 members, the Academy elected Findling as president, director Sabrina Farji as first vice president, Daniel Pensa as second vice president, Pablo Ingercher as secretary, and Vanesa Pagani as treasurer.
The members of the new board of directors that will have a mandate until December 2025 are Inés de Oliveira, Nathalia Videla Peña, Martín Salinas, Hugo Colace, Andrea Frigerio and Silvina Acosta. For his part, distributor Bernardo Zupnik was appointed as honorary president, while Sandra Iurcovich, Martín Desalvo, Gustavo Pomenarec and Antonio Pita will be auditors. Founded in 2004, the Academy of Cinematographic Arts and Sciences of Argentina is made up of more than 300 members, who are part of the sector, such as artists, technicians and professionals. Its function is to vote for the films that the country sends to the different international competitions, such as the Oscar or the Goya, and to present the Sur awards.
