The Hermès store in Lille, in the historic center, was robbed with a ram car Thursday at dawn, a week after a similar theft in the nearby Louis Vuitton store, we learned from a police source.
The facts took place around 5:30 a.m., using a Citroën Saxo, said this source, confirming information from The voice of the North. A second car remained on the spot and “a third vehicle” is on the run.
Part of the loot left behind
Clothing, jewelry and bags were stolen, but “some of the loot was left on the spot”, it was added.
This burglary takes place a week after a similar theft at the Louis Vuitton store in the city, located 100 m. Shortly before 6 a.m., a vehicle had crashed into the facade, allowing thieves to seize goods.
The same attack had already targeted this Louis Vuitton store in January, for damage then described as “considerable” by the prosecution.
