The lively Trabitzer celebrated his 90th birthday with a large circle of family members, friends and acquaintances. The master agricultural machinery mechanic and long-time workshop manager of the Trabitzer warehouse is known as a hard-working and courteous “asset of the community” and as a respected and committed member of numerous clubs.
Always and everywhere taken responsibility
For years he was also a member of the church council and the parish council of Burkhardsreuth, led the Trabitzer men’s choir, which made him an honorary board member as a thank you, and the local group of the Catholic Workers’ Movement (KAB), which he co-founded, and put his craftsmanship to good use as a “kindergarten grandpa”. the service of the former church daycare center. With its handcrafted bird feeders, starling boxes and insect hotels Hermann Bauer a heart for nature, and his wooden decorative items for the Christmas and Easter seasons decorate many homes.
Pastors also joined the “congratulations cour”. Edmund Prechtl, Mayor Carmen Pepiuk, the Burkhardsreuth volunteer fire department, the “d’Haidnaabtaler” traditional costume club, the CSU local association and the “Runder Tisch” sports center regulars’ table. Not to be missed were his wife Luise, with whom the celebrator has been married since 1962, the brothers Heinrich and Josef as well as the three sons Konrad, Berthold and Manfred, the eleven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren and many other relatives and friends. Hermann Bauer’s sister Sieglinde, who was no longer able to take part in the joyful celebration, was not forgotten.
