Patty Brard and Gordon were not offered a new contract with SBS/Talpa. It seems that TV chef Herman den Blijker can join the queue. While he used to be indistinguishable from the TV, now we hardly see him.
CAUSE
The cause lies in the fact that Erland Galjaard has left the TV world. Herman started his TV career in 2005. Who doesn’t remember that he had to revive a failing restaurant or help a hotel with this.
END OF TV CAREER
After Erland switched to Talpa in 2020, Herman joined him. After all, he had his TV career to thank for it. But that now seems to be coming to an end after almost 20 years. His contract expires on January 1 and nothing is known about a new contract.
He has only had three programs in the last four years, which were not exactly a ratings hit. The advantage for the TV chef was that he simply continues to get paid and that amounts to tons of euros.
