All the ministers of the government of Jean Castex favor real estate and tax-exempt books which bring in so little. Long-term financial investments are neglected.
The declarations of assets of ministers to the HATVP (High Authority for the Transparency of Public Life) show that members of the Castex government do not always make the best decisions to invest their savings.
Most of them are property owners, either directly or through an SCI. The vast majority of them have a pied-à-terre in the provinces.
That of Jean Castex is located in the Pyrénées Orientales, Bruno Le Maire in the Pyrénées-Atlantiques, Elisabeth Moreno in the Yvelynes, Elisabeth Borne in the Hauts de Seine, Jean-Yves le Drian in Ille et Vilaine, Jean-Michel Blanquer in the Côtes-d’Armor, Marlène Schiappa in Sarthe, Eric Dupond-Moretti in the Alpes-Maritimes and in the North, Jacqueline Gourault in Loir-et-Cher, Gérald Darmanin in the North, etc.
A few also own an apartment in Paris (Jean-Michel Blanquer, Florence Parly, Elisabeth Borne, Eric Dupond Moretti). Rare ministers do not own any real estate, such as government spokesman Gabriel Attal.
Ministers stay away from equities
But this real estate most often represents a large part of the heritage of ministers! The vast majority of them have neither life insurance nor PEA …
Thus, the best endowed in life insurance are Gabriel Attal for 1.4 million euros
