A young woman from Herford will probably have to do without her driver’s license for a long time. The 19-year-old novice driver was caught in Melle at the wheel of her car with alcohol in her blood. The Osnabrück police checked visitors to a large discotheque on Sunday night.

The Herforder was even able to set the sad daily record with 1.8 blood alcohol levels in her blood. She wasn’t the only alcoholic, however. Five other women and men were no longer fit to drive.
