Comedian Pierre-Yves Roy-Desmarais was his first host of the ADISQ gala on Sunday evening, after the 18-year reign of his colleague Louis-José Houde. On social networks, many Quebecers reacted to this wind of change.

After all, we were still in front of a new white comedian (those are PYRD’s words, not ours).
The new dad had promised to add his personal touch to the entertainment and he did so, notably with his humorous song Une bonne tune (it’s a good tune) et his (forced) collaboration with Les Trois Accords.
Obviously, some were bored of LJH, but many highlighted the originality of the 30-year-old comedian. Opinions are extremely divided.
