The Queen’s coffin is set up in London

The queen’s death is still on our minds. The monarch’s coffin was moved to London on Tuesday evening. Thousands of people lined the streets.

The coffin will be placed in the capital until his funeral on Monday. Royal fans around the world wait more than ten hours to catch a glimpse of the coffin.

“Everyone will eventually leave,” philosophizes one reader. But not everyone understands the hustle and bustle surrounding the queen. “Completely exaggerated, this effort,” says one reader.

Nörd Lägern: The nuclear waste deposit causes resentment

Earlier this week, Nagra and the federal government announced that Swiss nuclear waste should be disposed of in Nördlich Lägern. This hasn’t exactly caused a storm of enthusiasm in the affected region.

There have also been discussions among readers as to whether Nördlich Lägern is indeed the best solution.

“I would find a warehouse near my house much better than a normal landfill,” says a reader. Another, on the other hand, thinks it superfluous that the camp should be so close to built-up areas.
