The text refers to the indications of the Scientific Technical Committee according to which “the physical distance (intended as 1 meter between the pupils’ buccal rhymes), remains a point of primary importance in the prevention actions”.
Masks
It is not yet clear whether students will have to wear them during class. The Technical-Scientific Committee “at least 2 weeks before the start of the school year – reads the text – will update, in consideration of the changed epidemiological framework, its indications regarding the use of personal protective equipment”.
Distance learning
Lessons will resume in attendance except for second grade secondary schools, ie high schools, where it will be possible to provide «integrated digital teaching, where the context conditions make it a preferable option» or where «technological opportunities, age and skills of students ».

To avoid overcrowding, especially when entering and leaving institutions, “deferred and staggered” arrivals are expected, while the canteen can be organized over two or more shifts. If this is not enough, the local authorities will be able to study alternative solutions such as the consumption of the meal in single portions inside the classroom.
Frequency and lessons
The attendance at differentiated shifts and the “modular articulation of groups of pupils from the same or different classes or from different course years” were confirmed. Instead, the reference to attendance on Saturday disappeared, replaced by a «different weekly modulation of time at school. «The school institutions – it is still read – will take care to guarantee, to each pupil, the same educational offer, without prejudice to the opportunity to adopt different organizational solutions, to carry out educational or training activities parallel or alternatives to traditional teaching.».

The Plan foresees that Tables are set up in each region to monitor «the actions carried out by the Conferences of the services at a territorial level and by the various actors involved in the organization of school activities, also in order to detect any critical elements not resolved at the local level and support their resolution, taking particular care of the special needs coming from the need to protect pupils with disabilities».
Training
The schools will organize, individually or online, specific training activities for teaching staff and ATAs on the use of new technologies in relation to the various tasks and professional skills.
Institutes
In addition to the constant and thorough sanitation of the spaces, schools will have to «provide for the functional organization of the external and internal spaces, to avoid groupings or gatherings and to guarantee adequate entrances, exits, outflows and distances at every stage of the school day, for pupils, families, school and non-school staff».
Public transport
Plan «acknowledges the need to activate a special work table coordinated by the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport, with the participation of the Ministry of Education “and of the representatives of the Local Authorities to” find specific resources that may be necessary».
