Dead or alive, you’re coming with me.

Robocop: Rogue City was announced exactly one year ago, and then we had to make do with a pre-rendered trailer. It’s been quiet ever since, but now developer Teyon (Terminator: Resistance, Rambo: The Video Game) and publisher Nacon posted what they themselves think is a gameplay trailer, although I personally would not call it that. In any case, it is rendered in the game engine, so we get at least an idea of what the game will look like.
Just as expected, the game takes place in a Detroit characterized by riots and chaos. It falls to Robocop to go in and clean up the mess, and just like in the movies, his efforts are not met only by thanks and cheers. Furthermore, it does not seem to hesitate to follow the model in terms of the amount of blood, and we also see the classic green sight that extends across the screen when he sends lead in the direction of the villains – the question is whether it is there too evenly or something that may be activated in someone form of special attack?
Another dear reunion is the competing police robot ED-209, which is beaten by Robocop in the trailer. Furthermore, we see that the robosnuten can not only use his pistol to attack, but also throw both enemies and garbage cans.
Robocop: Rogue City will be released in June 2023 for PC, Playstation 5, Xbox Series X / S and Nintendo Switch.
