Talented people can find food for thought in everything and ultimately create a real masterpiece. Eldar Ryazanov was just such a creator, who, thanks to his directorial vision, was able to find an incredible script for the future film in everyday life.
After going to a meeting of the cooperative and spending almost four hours discussing everyday issues, he had a unique idea. Together with the screenwriter, in 24 days he developed a plot in which he reflected all the experiences of the shareholders, and showed typical Soviet citizens trying to argue with each other. Ryazanov did not forget about himself.

This scenario formed the basis of the film “Garage”, which quickly fell in love with the audience for its social satire, and the characters’ lines scattered into quotes. Although it is still difficult to imagine that this movie was born only thanks to the meeting of one cooperative.
