Here’s proof teams aren’t disappointed to lose to Connor Bedard

The 2023 NHL Draft will be held at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville on June 28-29.

The headliner of the cuvée is certainly the phenomenon Connor Bedardwhich never ceases to impress hockey fans.

This season, Bedard has 45 goals and 91 points in 38 games for the Regina Pats in the WHL.

Several clubs dream of drafting the number 98, including the Columbus Blue Jackets (32nd), the Chicago Blackhawks (31st), the Anaheim Ducks (30th), the Arizona Coyotes (29th), the San Sharks Jose (28th), the Montreal Canadiens (27th) and the Vancouver Canucks (26th) who occupy the last positions.

To give you an idea, there are only 10 points separating the last 6 positions in the general classification and a race to the bottom is likely to take shape in the coming weeks.

Montreal is the only organization that has two 1st round picks in 2023 without any protection and the troop of Kent Hughes is in a very good position to get his hands on Connor Bedard.

The NHL trade deadline will be March 3 and there may be several moves.

With many star players available including Patrick Kane et Vladimir Tarasenkoyou risk seeing 2023 1st-round picks being traded.

So far, the Panthers are the only team officially out of the running for Bedard.

The main interested party has just made a surprising statement about Mason McTavish and the Anaheim Ducks.

After each Ducks loss, McTavish sends a text message to Connor Bedard reminding him that they will be in the running for him in the next draft.

By doing so, bet that the young forward from Anaheim is not too disappointed to see his team remain at the bottom of the standings and that he is probably not the only one.
