Here’s How to Visit It – NBC New York (47)

Colombians and residents of our area will be able to experience a bit of the history of this South American country on the waters.

This is because the historic ARC Gloria Ship, an emblematic symbol of Colombia, arrives in New York City and you can visit it for free.

The ARC Gloria will be open to the public on Saturday, June 11, from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm at the well-known USS Intrepid museum located in Manhattan Harbor 86. People who wear it have to wear masks.

The Buque ARC Glory It is the flagship of the Colombian National Navy and a vessel that represents this country in all ports of the world. This huge sailboat wearing the colors yellow, blue and red is a reflection of seafaring stories dating back to 1966.

In its history it has traveled more than 808,000 nautical miles and has been in more than 180 ports.
