First of all, you need to know that ivy needs a Mediterranean climate (the optimum temperature is around 20 degrees). Let’s not place it in a corner where the sun’s rays strike too direct. We prefer a cool, albeit illuminated environment. Finally, it is good to take care of a correct drainage of the water by mixing clay with the soil.
Having said that, all we have to do is plant the ivy in a pot with a minimum diameter of 30 centimeters. If we don’t want it to grow too much, we can prune the apical buds.
