Between just over a month we will say goodbye to the year 2022 and among the things we will remember when thinking back to this year, there will certainly be the effects of inflation that we have been forced to face and that, no doubt, we are still fighting. The most striking increases they put on my knees the nation are, by necessity, that of the gas, fuel and electricity. In many cases, in fact, many Italian companies have found each other forced to close and those that managed to stay afloat, had to raise the price of the finished product to draw the same markup and fight expenses and costs of production. As a result, we too have found ourselves faced with an increasingly worrying situation especially at the supermarket; where we spend the usual amount with the goal of the things in the cart.
Energy prices
Furthermore, the measures adopted by the Government have helped us on several occasions, from the appearance of several bonuses to the increase of certain tax relief. Electricity companies have also done their best to help us consumers; allowing us to buy the flow at the wholesale price reserved for themselves. The Price, called WORD PUN as an acronym of Prezzo unico Noational; is the same throughout Italy and for all companies. In this way, except in some cases of suppliers who add a few cents to each kWh consumed, we citizens are required to pay for energy according to this variable which changes every month.
Again, of course, the difference was noticed. The annual mean of the PUN of everything the year 2021in fact, it did not exceed i 10 cents per kilowatt hour; consider, indeed, that for many months he had prowled between 6 and 8 cents. Not quite the amount we wound up paying to July, August and Septemberin which the single national price has skyrocketed, no less than a 42, 54 and 44 cents/kWh. In the last couple of months, however, it seems like things are slightly improved; the PUN of October, in fact, was 21 cents and that of November, at least for the moment, seems to follow the same footsteps.
We will be able to say the same also for December and for the new year? Or has the price these last two months been just a little breather? We will keep you posted about the news.
