The fake profile “Fraud Kristiansen” fooled Facebook and many others. He now reveals how and why he did it.

Not everyone can write their own death certificate. But if we’re to take him at his word, “Fraud Kristiansen” did just that this Saturday afternoon.
On his Facebook profile he leaves what in the real world is equivalent to a one and a half page resignation letter. In English. There she explains how she tricked Facebook. Both algorithms and many, many users.
Now you’re sitting and wondering who “Frode Kristiansen” is? In short: it is not Fraud. The profile is fake and used to spread pro-Russian propaganda on Facebook. Often of the most absurd kind, as Aftenposten mentioned on Friday.
So who is he really? Aftenposten has not heard back from the person behind the profile. Therefore, we weren’t even able to ask why he created the alias. He himself says:
“This is more than a Norwegian troll spreading all sorts of nonsense information.”
However, the expert is not sure about this.
