Here’s an update on Maarten Paes’ position ahead of Indonesia vs Bahrain

Martin Paes he was injured before he was protected Indonesia national team. This is the current position of the Garuda goalkeeper before the match Bahrain.

Indonesian National Team manager Sumardji revealed that Paes will join Shin Tae-yong’s team on Tuesday afternoon (8/10). So far his condition is improving ahead of the game against Bahrain on Thursday (10/10).

“Maarten Paes will arrive in Bahrain tomorrow afternoon, around 14.40. But earlier my team doctor asked for final coordination before flying,” said Sumardji, in a press release received by detikSport.

“If his condition improves day by day, tomorrow when he comes, we will immediately look at what his actual condition is. And after that we will see if he can play or not take it. It is possible, God willing, his condition will improve,” he said Maarten Paes.

Paes has defended Indonesia twice, after officially becoming an Indonesian citizen. He only conceded once against Saudi Arabia, where he saved a penalty in his first game.

In addition, Indonesia national team fight Bahrain at the Bahrain National Stadium. A win will open the way for Indonesia to progress to the next round, having collected two points in Group C so far.
