jpnn.com – Apple has finally launched the final version of its newest operating system, iOS 14 which is now available for download.
Apple CEO Tim Cook said, iOS 14 is expected to change the core experience on the iPhone.
“With a newly designed Home Screen widget, a new way to organize apps with the App Library, and a new, even faster way to use apps when needed with App Clips,” Cook said.
Devices that support iOS 14 include iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro, iPhone 11 Pro Max, iPhone XS and XS Max, iPhone X and XR, iPhone 8 and 8 Plus, iPhone 7 and 7 Plus, iPhone 6S and 6S Plus, iPhone SE (1st generation), iPhone SE (2nd generation) and iPod touch (7th generation).
Apart from iOS 14, Apple has also officially released iPadOS 14. One of its newest features is Scribble, which allows handwriting to be transformed into digital text.
There are also features that bring a new look to search and some apps have new designs, such as expanded sidebars and menus.
“iPadOS 14 lets you do a lot with Apple Pencil, brings many improvements to the iPad app, and even takes the iPad experience even further,” adds Cook.
Other updates, such as the Messaging application, are able to feature mention, in-line replay, and conversation pins.
