Here’s a Chinese car that competes with the HR-V, has complete & sophisticated features

Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – Chery OMODA 5, the first global product from Chery Automobile which was launched in China at Auto Guangzhou 2021 in China, is now introduced to Indonesian consumers at the 2023 Indonesia International Motor Show (IIMS). Competing in the Compact SUV segment, Omoda 5 will compete under the name old like HR-V

On this occasion, Chery immediately announced the prices for the two types offered to the Indonesian market. Chery OMODA 5 type RZ sells for IDR 398,000,000, while type R sells for IDR 328,000,000. This price will only apply to pre-booking during IIMS 2023.

OMODA 5 has a frameless front grille pattern. There are 18 inch wheels. Lighting from trapezoidal Split LED Headlights, T-shaped LED Daytime running lights and X-Trough Dynamic LED Taillights.

In the cabin area, there are multi-colored LED ambient lights that can be connected to the driving mode and music rhythm, presenting an exciting and different driving atmosphere.

Features owned by OMODA 5 are equipped with an electronic power steering system (EPS), electronic parking brake (EPB) + AUTOHOLD, lane keeping system (LDP), traffic signal recognition system (TSR), adaptive cruise system (ACC), Integrated Cruise Assist ( ICA), and other systems that make car owners feel pampered on every trip.

There are five attractive color choices to choose from, namely Gray Morganite, Black Platinum, Blue Turquoise, and White Howlite to suit the tastes of every consumer. For those who want to be different, there is a two tone color option which makes OMODA 5’s appearance stand out even more with a dynamic and character style.

In terms of engine technology, OMODA 5 is prepared with a 1500cc Turbo which can produce a maximum power of 108kW, 145 Hp and a maximum torque of 230Nm. This makes OMODA 5 a clear advantage in the Premium Crossover SUV class.

OMODA 5 is equipped with a D-shaped multifunction leather steering wheel and is equipped with multimedia configuration buttons that make it easy for the driver to control without distracting from driving concentration.

For its visual features, OMODA 5 has a dual 20.5-inch screen that is interconnected between a digital speedometer and an elongated multimedia instrument that makes it flexible and comfortable to operate while driving.

This car also has an Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) and adopts global experimental standards for emissions, collision safety, protection for pedestrians, and other standards set by countries in Eastern Europe, the Middle East, and South America. The ADAS standard in OMODA 5 is one of the strengths to compete with similar cars in its class.

Chery OMODA 5 will be available in two variants. Variant Z, and RZ as the highest variant. For the RZ variant, it has been equipped with 8 Sony speakers, door mirror heating, acoustic glass, intelligent voice assistant. sequential LED turning light, and several other features.
