In Medellín, massive vaccination points are kept enabled to access first, second and third doses against covid-19, with the exception of Janssen (single dose) and third doses of Sinovac, which are not available at this time. As reported by the Ministry of Health, the application of the other biologicals, this Tuesday, December 21, is subject to the exhaustion of the day’s stock at different points.
This agency indicated that in the capital of Antioquia third or booster doses of biologics other than Sinovac are available for people ages 18 to 49 in stages 1 and 2, as well as those who have comorbidities according to their primary vaccination scheme and will be applied while supplies last.
There are also first and second doses of Sinovac for children from 3 to 11 years old and second doses of this same biological for those over 18 years of age. Regarding the Pfizer vaccine, There are first and second doses for pregnant mothers and postpartum up to 40 days, as well as second doses for those over 12 years of age.
In addition, there are first and second doses of AstraZeneca for people over 18 and third for people over 50. From Moderna there are first doses for people 12 to 17 years old and second for people over 12 years old.
Among the points enabled to apply these biologists, between 10:00 in the morning and 6:00 in the afternoon are El Nogal (commune 16-Belén), Popular Alta (commune 1-Popular), Villa Esperanza and Altos de la Torre (commune 8-Villa Hermosa), Moravia and Aranjuez park (commune 4-Aranjuez), María Auxiliadora and Patio Bonito (commune 6-Doce de Octubre) and the Manzanillo Telecentre (Altavista district). Likewise, between 10:00 in the morning and 5:00 in the afternoon there is a point in the Bazaar de las Marcas, in Plaza Mayor.
The Ministry of Health explained that Vaccination can be purchased without an appointment, as long as the person is in the time required for the corresponding dose.

Other points available in the city, until 5:00 in the afternoon, are the Yesid Santos volleyball arena, at the Atanasio Girardot Sports Unit; the ITM Fraternity, in Boston; and the Sandiego, Terminal del Norte, Terminal del Sur, Oviedo, Florida, Gran Plaza, Premium Plaza, Santafé, La Central and Unicentro shopping centers, as well as the Fundadores Clinic. In these places the third doses are applied while supplies last.
Until 4:00 in the afternoon there is vaccination in the Los Molinos and El Tesoro shopping centers, Comfama de La América and the IPS Universitaria. Until 3:30 in the afternoon there are in the Union Plaza shopping center and the Red Cross.
Likewise, there is availability in the intermediate health units of Santa Cruz, San Javier, Castilla, San Antonio de Prado, San Cristóbal, Manrique, Belén, Nuevo Occidente and Doce de Octubre, between 7:00 in the morning and 7:00 am: 00 at night; while in the San Antonio, Acevedo and San Javier Metro stations, the vaccination application operates between 7:00 in the morning and 5:00 in the afternoon.
