After six seasons at the helm of the daily Today the story, on ICI Première, host Jacques Beauchamp announces that he will be stepping down to take up a new challenge.

“I am extremely proud of all that we have accomplished at Today the story, said the host in a press release sent Thursday by Radio-Canada. After six years, I feel the need to take on a new challenge and explore other horizons. ”
In place until the end of the current season, Jacques Beauchamp will have animated more than 1000 episodes ofToday history. ICI Première’s flagship show, in the words of Caroline Jamet, Executive Director, Radio, Audio and Greater Montreal, will be back for a seventh season next fall. The name of Jacques Beauchamp’s replacement and his new assignment at Radio-Canada will be announced later.
