Cyril Lignac’s Cantonese rice recipe
Preparation time: 20 minutes
Cooking time: 6 minutes
Ingredients for 4 persons :
- 300g fragrant Thai rice cooked and well seeded
- 4 slices of white ham, 0.5cm thick, cut into cubes
- 100g boiled peas
- 1 small onion peeled and chopped
- 1 clove garlic peeled and minced
- 3 eggs
- 3 tbsp. soy sauce
- oil and pepper
The preparation :
- In the hot sauté pan, pour a dash of oil, start to cook the onion and garlic with a slight browning, then release to the side.
- Beat the eggs in a bowl, pour them into the pan and start cooking them like scrambled eggs.
- Add the rice on top and mix gently, add the peas, mix again, pour the soy sauce and finish with the diced ham.
- Pepper lightly and serve in a dish or on plates.
