There are not a few users who miss the varianti Compact that not long ago Sony was used to launch into the world of Android smartphones. These are joined by those who they don’t like bigger and bigger displays on the current top of the range on the market.
And then Sony may have the perfect answer: in the last hours new and significant details have leaked about the new Xperia Compact that the Japanese manufacturer could launch on the Android market. In gallery below you can get a taste of its supposed look: on the front we see a diagonal display equal to 5,5″ with central notch that houses the front camera from 8 megapixel, while on the back we see the camera module with two sensors of which the main would shoot at 13 megapixels.
Laterally we also see the presence of the jack for headphones, while the size of the device would be 140 x 68,9 x 8,9 mm, a godsend for those who love to use the device comfortably with one hand. Laterally we should also find the fingerprint sensor and the usual volume keys.
Regarding the alleged launch of a new Xperia Compact we had already had relevant warnings at the end of last year. It remains to be seen how the market will welcome it, considering that iPhone 12 mini it’s not keeping Apple’s hopes. We still don’t know the exact launch date, we will keep you updated on this aspect.

Steve H. shared some new details on the compact device Sony would be developing. In addition to new video which collects the renderings we have seen previously, which you can see through the present player below, the well-known leaker shared some interesting things consideration.
It seems in fact that the device it won’t have the specs, nor the design, of a compact top of the range: the pronounced notch, the dual rear camera with 13 megapixel main sensor they don’t make us think to a flagship. Given its size, however, it seems stonare also as the successor to the mid-range Xperia L4, since it would be significantly smaller. So the name of the new Xperia Compact still hovers over the name doubts, as well as on its caliber.
