Activision has now presented its new anti-cheating system Ricochet that will improve the gaming environment in Call of Duty: Warzone and Vanguard.
The anti-cheating system consists of several new tools on the server side such as data analysis that can detect cheating, upgraded investigation procedures to block cheaters and updates to strengthen user account security. Richochet also includes a new kernel-level PC driver to help identify cheaters and strengthen server security.
Richochet’s anti-cheating system first comes to Call of Duty: Vanguard and will be released next month for Call of Duty: Warzone. The Kernel driver instead comes first to Call of Duty: Warzone and to Call of Duty: Vanguard at a later time.
