Motorola has introduced the top model Edge 20 Pro which has a Swedish price of SEK 6,999, even if the manufacturer has not announced when the phone will be released yet. One of the editions has a backing in textured artificial leather (see picture above).
The back consists of glass in the other models. The device has proper RAM and storage: 12GB LPDDR5 and 256GB UFS 3.1 respectively. Customers get a 6.7-inch OLED with FHD +, HDR10 +, and a healthy 144Hz refresh rate. Even though the phone has “Edge” in the name, the screen is flat.
The Edge 20 Pro does not offer the very latest Qualcomm chip, but the performance is relatively high. Motorola has integrated the Snapdragon 870, which is a further development of last year’s top chip Snapdragon 865 Plus. The design is “water resistant”, but Motorola does not mention a specific IP rating.
There are three cameras on the back: a 108MP main camera, a 16MP super wide angle camera and an 8MP telephoto lens with 5x optical zoom and 50x digital zoom. The camera set supports “extreme” close-ups that allow users to get five times closer to the subject than without the finesse.
Motorola also mentions Wi-Fi 6 and 5G. The last point is the battery, with a capacity of 4500mAh and support for 30W fast charging. According to the manufacturer, the Edge 20 Pro will be released “soon” but we will be allowed to return regarding availability.
